Our Venus versa radio frequency device is designed to tighten the skin and stimulate collagen and elastin to improve sagging and wrinkles. Radio frequency works by heating the skin to 41 degrees which creates a controlled injury that triggers the immune response to build new collagen fibres that in turn improve the integrity and strength of the skin.

As we age, the skin on our face begins to lose its elasticity, leading to sagging, fine lines, and wrinkles. Enter Ultraformer—a cutting-edge non-surgical treatment that uses High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) technology to tighten, lift, and rejuvenate the skin on the face, offering a safe and effective treatment without the down tiem associated with surgeries or other invasive modalities.
If you're looking for a way to; target skin laxity or improve facial definition, Ultraformer might be the solution. Here’s everything you need to know about this popular facial rejuvenation treatment.
Ultraformer is a medical-grade aesthetic device that uses High-intensity Focussed Ultrasound (HIFU) to deliver focussed energy deep into the skin. The ultrasound energy stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which are the building blocks of youthful, firm skin.
Unlike invasive cosmetic procedures like facelifts or Botox, Ultraformer offers a non-invasive alternative, delivering noticeable results with minimal downtime. It's safe, effective, and can treat a variety of facial concerns such as sagging skin, fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of facial volume.
The Ultraformer device delivers untrasound energy to different layers of the skin, depending on the depth of the treatment required. This targeted approach ensures that each layer (whether it's the skin's surface or deeper tissue layers gets the correct amount of energy to provide a successful treatment.
How does Ultrafomer work on the face?
- Precise Energy Delivery
The Ultrafomer uses ultrasound waves to target precise depths in the skin. For facial treatments, these can range from superficial layers (for skin tightening) to deeper layers (for lifting and contouring). The different depths allow for highly cutomisable treatments, addressing a variety of skin concerns on the face. - Thermal Effect
When the ultrasound energy is applied, it generates heat at the targeted tissue layers. This creates controlled damage to the tissue, triggering the body’s natural healing response. As a result, the skin produces more collagen and elastin, which helps to tighten and smooth the skin over time. - Lifting and Firming
Over the course of weeks to months following treatment, the production of new collagen tightens the skin and improves its elasticity, leading to a firmer, more youthful appearance. The lifting effect is gradual, resulting in natural-looking improvements.
3 key benefits of Ultrafomer for facial rejuvenation
Ultraformer has become a go-to treatment for individuals seeking non-invasive facial rejuvenation. Here are some of the top benefits:
- Non-Surgical Facelift
One of the most popular uses of Ultraformer is to provide a non-surgical facelift. The treatment lifts sagging skin around the jawline, neck, eyebrows, and cheeks, offering a subtle but noticeable lift. Ultraformer works by stimulating deep layers of the skin to tighten and firm, resulting in a more defined and youthful appearance. - Targets Jowls and Double Chin
Ultraformer is highly effective in treating sagging skin around the jawline and neck. It lifts the jowls and tightens the skin under the chin, offering a more defined jawline and reducing the appearance of a double chin. - Minimal Downtime
Since Ultraformer is non-invasive, there’s little to no downtime. While you may experience some mild redness or swelling in the treated areas immediately after the procedure, this typically resolves within a few hours. Most people can resume normal activities within 24 hours, making it an ideal treatment for those with busy schedules.

How Long Do Results Last?
Results from Ultraformer develop gradually over the course of 2 to 3 months as collagen production increases. Depending on your skin condition and the number of treatments, results can last anywhere from 12 to 18 months. To maintain the effects, many people choose to have follow-up
treatments every 12-18 months.
Skin Needling; sometimes known as collagen induction therapy or "CIT", works by stimulating fibroblast cells in our skin, that help to form the body's own production of collagen. Once this collagen has been regenerated it will keep on reproducing naturally - essentially the more you stimulate this production, the more collagen will be produced! Tiny micro-channels are created on the skins surface using a 'pen' like device containing 8 extremely delicate needles. By creating these micro-wounds, it triggers the body's healing response to begin repairing the damaged area. This results in leaving the skin smoother, stronger and more refined. Skin needling will treat a multitude of concerns including; uneven texture, dull skin tone, thickened/sun damaged skin and is also a great option for general treatment maintenance and rejuvenation. This treatment is not recommended for; anyone with active breakouts, on blood thinning medication or any blood disorders, as pin point bleeding is an expected part of this treatment.
