Our Venus versa radio frequency device is designed to tighten the skin and stimulate collagen and elastin to improve sagging and wrinkles. Radio frequency works by heating the skin to 41 degrees which creates a controlled injury that triggers the immune response to build new collagen fibres that in turn improve the integrity and strength of the skin.
This treatment is suitable for individuals concerned with loss of elasticity through the face, neck and décolletage areas. The treatment is designed to have a course of 6 treatments at weekly intervals. Results can be seen after 6-12 months.

There is no downtime. Your skin may look flushed and plump directly after your treatment, however you will not have any down time and can resume normal activities.
Laser Genesis is a rejuvenation technique that works by bulk heating the deeper layer of the dermis to stimulate new collagen and elastin fibres to plump and rejuvenate skin. Is Laser Genesis painful?
The sensation is like an elastic band flicking the skin accompanied by warmth that may progress during the treatment. Some areas on the face may be more sensitive than others such as the upper cheeks and nose.

The treatment length depends on how large the area is being treated. Typically appointments are 45 minutes.

What is the expected downtime after treatment?
There is no downtime and normal activities may be resumed immediately post treatment This treatment is great before an event.
Skin Needling; sometimes known as collagen induction therapy or "CIT", works by stimulating fibroblast cells in our skin, that help to form the body's own production of collagen. Once this collagen has been regenerated it will keep on reproducing naturally - essentially the more you stimulate this production, the more collagen will be produced! Tiny micro-channels are created on the skins surface using a 'pen' like device containing 8 extremely delicate needles. By creating these micro-wounds, it triggers the body's healing response to begin repairing the damaged area. This results in leaving the skin smoother, stronger and more refined. Skin needling will treat a multitude of concerns including; uneven texture, dull skin tone, thickened/sun damaged skin and is also a great option for general treatment maintenance and rejuvenation. This treatment is not recommended for; anyone with active breakouts, on blood thinning medication or any blood disorders, as pin point bleeding is an expected part of this treatment.

Main aftercare
DO NOT USE ANY ACTIVE PRODUCTS (CHEMICAL EXFOLIATORS, RETINOL/VITAMIN A/VITAMIN C) FOR 7 DAYS. APPLY A 50+ SPF DAILY.

Directly after
Very red, hot and tight. This can last up to 12 hours and feel quite sore to touch. Within this time only apply the post treatment products or aloe vera to the skin as it will feel sensitive.

Next day
May still be pink and can feel warm. We recommend applying the post treatment products and using an approved hydrating serum to help ease tightness. A SPF Moisturiser MUST be applied at the start of the day.

2 – 5 Days
This is the skins ‘remodelling phase’. Skin will feel dry and may start to flake and peel as old, damaged skin cells are replaced by new ones! Do not pick at the skin or over exfoliate. Re-apply moisturiser throughout the day to assist with keeping the skin hydrated.

7 – 10 Days
Your skin should now be starting to feel energised and refreshed. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking in at this stage for a PEEL & HEAL LED treatment to assist with any residual flaking or dryness and to ensure the skin has recovered to its full potential.

Is it painful?
You may experience some mild discomfort during the treatment, however to reduce this we apply a topical numbing cream 30 minutes prior. Less padded areas on the face such as the forehead and nose may be slightly more intense in feeling.

What is the expected down time?
Directly after the treatment, skin will be hot and red. This will subside within the next few hours. A remodeling phase that may include dryness, tightness and light flaking or shedding of the skin may follow for up to 7 days.

1550 Setting: The FraxPro 1550 is a diode laser with a hard hitting deep dermal impact, leaving the stratum corneum intact. By administering a controlled wound healing, the 1550 can deeply rejuvenate the dermis, with no damage to the epidermis. Performed under local anaesthetic this treatment is selected for the improvement of deep wrinkles, acne scarring and an overall impressive skin rejevunation.
The 1940 setting: The 1940 wavelength targets the epidermis and results in a superficial skin resurfacing that requires no numbing. This gives balanced even skin tone and refines the skin texture. Our choice for those desiring a skin texture improvement a visible reduction in pigmentation, sun spots, photodamage, fine lines and a more even complexion.
The 1550 and 1940 can be performed separately or combined and can treat face, neck, decollatage and hands.

Is the treatment painful?
Yes the 1550 laser is uncomfortable, hence we apply a topical anaesthetic numbing agent 1 hour prior to the procedure which makes it very tolerable. The 1940 is very tolerable and requires no anaesthetic prior.

How long is the treatment?
Depending on the body part being treated, treatment times can range from 15 mins for single scar areas, up to 1 hour for face, neck, hands and decollatage treatment. Multiple treatments may be required depending on the indication treated.

What is the expected downtime with treatment?
The skin will be red and swollen immediately after the treatment. This will settle a lot over the first few hours. The skin will feel warm and like a mild sunburn. The swelling and redness may last for up to 24-48 hours. After this time the skin will feel rough, like a gentle sandpaper which can last for up to 1-2 weeks. Some of the treated pigmented areas may appear darker momentarily.
