What are exosomes?

Exosomes which are nanosized vesicles that are secreted from cells within our body. These act as information carriers that exert an effect on other cells they encounter to help co-ordinate physiological processes. The exosomes of choice at Skindepth are developed by Xytide and derived from ethically sourced, healthy, human adipose (fat) tissue. Using this derivative is the most stable and controlled substance to work from as there is no DNA component meaning the cells cannot mutate.

Downtime will relate to the nature of the adjuvant treatment but mostly exosomes will reduce the usual downtime of treatment

Which treatments work best with Exomide exosomes?

ANY! These ampoules can be added onto any treatment or even purchased as a stand alone serum to be used at home. However, the best results are achieved when infusing the exosomes into the skin after penetrative treatments such as skin needling or nanofractional radiofrequency. This process is called laser assisted delivery.
